Locatie
The villa is located in the small resort Joonchi, close to Mahaai. Access to the resort is only possible through a large gate that can be remotely opened by its residents. It is a safe and quiet place to live, yet centrally located on the island, close to all needed facilities such as schools, banks, shops, etc.
De villa
The (Columbian) design of the villa as well as the playful lay-out of the house in combination with the lush garden and central location make the resort as well as the villa a unique place to live. The architect took the wind into account for the design, leading to the fact that there is a light breeze almost everywhere in the villa. This allows you to relax both inside and outside, on one of the villa’s porches or the patio.
On the ground floor one can find the living room, the kitchen, a laundry room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 porches, a spacious patio, and a storage room with a toilet. The living room has multiple double doors to the patio and the porch at the rear side of the house. There is also a comfortable porch in the front yard, directly in front of the kitchen. The third porch is located at the rear side of the house, and directly attached to the master bedroom.
On the first floor one can find one bedroom with a bathroom en suite. A walking bridge connects the room to the detached office next door.
The tropical garden
The garden is extremely lush with a nice green lawn, bushes, and palm trees. The irrigation system is connected to a deep well in order to make sure that the garden stays green all year long. Due to the fact that the villa boasts multiple porches, you will always find a comfortable place to relax with plenty of wind and shadow.
